September 18, 2007

As USD 217 kicks off the Parents Online and Students Online we realize that many parents are not as comfortable with using a computers as their children are. Computers, cell phones, iPods are all here to stay in some form (technology changes so fast that we can't even predict what we'll have available to us next year!) so it's important that parents and children know how to keep themselves safe while using the internet. Commonsense.com has many wonderful tips on how to keep your kids safe while on the Internet. We urge you to read the information with your kids and set up appropriate guidelines for your family. Happy surfing!
