Boekhaus Signs With NWOSU

Chase Boekhaus, son of Rodney and Tami Boekhaus, recently signed with the Northwestern Oklahoma State University rodeo team. Boekhaus participates in the team roping event. When asked about his signing Boekhaus stated, "I am really excited about attending NWOSU. My team roping partner for next year, Dawson McMaster is one of the top heelers in the Central Plains Region and just qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo. It will be an incredible experience heading for someone of Dawson's caliber and an opportunity few incoming freshman are given." Boekhaus has only been roping since the seventh grade, but he and his partner Tyler Thomas of Dalhart, TX are ranked number one in all of Kansas.
