Information:
- When we have a finalized schedule you will know more about which meets you will attend
- Each player may play in 8 meets prior to Regionals. Quest only counts as a meet if we make the TV round
- We will have try-outs for Varsity and JV the week of OCTOBER 10th; this is to determine how we play at Meade
- After Meade, with the exception of the Rolla meet, Varsity and JV may play together
- We will take one observer to meets; this will be included on the finalized schedule
- Players must attend scheduled practices. Practices will be done on an individual or small group basis when it works with student schedules. Practice schedules will be posted on the glass office door. If you miss practices, you may not be attending all of the meets on your list.
- It is your responsibility to ask for new materials. Mrs. Courtney and Mrs. Hall are both very willing to get copies of new material for you ANY time you ask. Please learn these materials before asking for more.
- NOTEBOOKS: Please keep a notebook! You may hole punch materials and put them in. It is a good idea to also write questions and answers on paper and even alphabetize them using tabs.
- You may bring your notebook to tryouts to be used as one source of questions. (It’s great if it is organized).
- Mr. Bane is willing to work one-on-one in language arts and fine arts for ANY Rolla High School student that is interested. You will need to contact him, or ask Mrs. Courtney or Mrs. Hall to contact him to set up a time. If you schedule a time with him, you MUST keep that time unless there is an emergency or you are sick. He drives in to meet with you and it’s not fair to leave him hanging.
- You are welcome to stop by Mrs. Hall’s room any day after school to get in extra practice time. If I am here, we can work together.
- We almost always stop to eat dinner somewhere on the way home from meets.
- We have the most FUN of any activity when we go on the road…. J
