Coronavirus Statement 3/15/2020
Due to a strong recommendation set forth by the Kansas Department of Education, in conjunction with KSHSAA, KNEA, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and the Governor’s Office this afternoon, school will be closed for the week of March 16-20. The purpose of this is to give these state agencies a chance to form a cohesive plan to deal with the COVID-19 virus. There will be no school activities conducted this week. This includes Teacher In-Service scheduled for March 16 which has been canceled. I will have a staff meeting tomorrow over Zoom at 9:00 am. Staff should watch their email for a link to it. As we get further information, it will be passed along as soon as possible.
